今回はコミック電撃だいおうじVOL.118に掲載されていた『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』1話の感想・考察について話していこうと思う。

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』の概要・1話の内容

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』は芙蓉女学院に通う松岡蓮奈が謎のマッチングサイト・Black black Lotusで起きた事件に巻き込まれていく様子を描いた百合漫画。

黒薔薇様と呼ばれた黛馨子の不可解な死・Black black Lotusに残された謎のメッセージ・蓮奈のトラウマ・蓮奈と馨子の邂逅。

馨子とBlack black Lotusに運命を変えられた蓮奈は真実にたどり着くことができるのか。

1話では、蓮奈と馨子の再開に加え、馨子の死が描かれていた。

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』というタイトルについて

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』というタイトルを見ると、『マジック:ザ・ギャザリング(MTG)』のBlack Lotusが頭に浮かぶ。Black Lotusがトレンドに挙がった時に『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』を勧める人が出そう。Black Lotusの金額と話題性を踏まえると、Twitterなどでトレンドに挙がることが何度もありそうだ。

『女同士とかありえないでしょと言い張る女の子を、百日間で徹底的に落とす百合のお話』でも『MTG』に造詣のあるキャラクターが登場していた。

クトゥルフ神話で黒い蓮から毒を作る存在がいるとか。そう考えたら、Black black Lotusは命を落とした人間や運命を大きく変えられた人間にとっては毒のようなものと言えるだろう。

蓮の花言葉は「神聖」「清らかな心」。花言葉から察するに、Black black Lotusは罪を犯した人間に粛清を下すサイトという側面を持ち合わせているのかもしれない。

死んだ人間と運命を変えられた人間は強い繋がりがあることを踏まえると、蓮奈と馨子は一蓮托生の関係だ。

ちなみに、蓮の収斂進化である睡蓮は蓮と似ても似つかない。

タイトルだけでなく、作中に登場するアプリやキャラクターを見ていると、黒を連想させる。黒薔薇も黒を連想させる百合漫画だなと感じさせますね。

ちなみに、黒薔薇の花言葉は「決して滅びることのない永遠の愛」。馨子が死んでも蓮奈に対する愛は滅びることはないということだろうか。

バラは本数によって花言葉が変化する。100本の場合は「100％の愛」。365本の場合は「あなたが毎日恋しい」といった具合に。

冒頭のシーンを見る限り、過去に何があったか蓮奈が記憶を徐々に紐解いていくのであろう。

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』はありかどうか

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』はありかなしか聞かれたら、ありだと答える。

蓮奈の運命が大きく狂わされ、後戻りできなくなっていく様子に加え、いわくつきのマッチングサイトなど、腰を据えて考える要素がとにかく多い。物語をじっくり考え、追いかけていきたい方にはうってつけじゃないかなと思う。

蓮奈と馨子が最終的にどのように繋がるのかも気になるところだ。

サスペンス的な要素を取り入れた漫画や謎解きが好きな方は一度読んでみてはいかがでしょうか？

登場するキャラクターも可愛いないし美しい。

可愛らしい蓮奈はリアクション豊富だし、馨子はどこかミステリアスな魅力を秘めている。今後、どのようなキャラクターが物語に関わってくるのかも気になるところだ。

破滅的な運命を辿る『ぜんぶ壊して地獄で愛して』とか人狼を題材にした『白き乙女の人狼』のような百合漫画が好きな方に刺さるのかなと思わなくもない。

黛馨子について思うこと

黛馨子はクトゥルフ神話に登場するアトラク＝ナクアっぽいなというのが初見の印象。

黒のロングヘア―とセーラー服という組み合わせを見ると。黒のロングヘア―やセーラー服が特徴的なアトラク＝ナクアをモチーフにしたキャラクターを何回か目にした。

馨子のキャラクターデザインは『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』というタイトルに驚く程マッチしている。

黛という苗字も「代わりの黒」または「黒の代わり」という感覚を覚えた。蓮奈に代わって、蓮奈を苦しめる人間を成敗する姿を連想しましたね。

『地獄少女』が頭に。代償を支払う代わりにターゲットを始末する様子が『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』や馨子と通ずる何かがあると感じてしまったせいだろう。1日寝たら、そう思わなくなるさ。

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』1話における見どころのひとつとして、蓮奈と馨子の再会が挙げられる。

馨子が蓮奈の髪を触った後のハグ。そして、馨子が意味深な表情を見せる様子にゾクッとした…

馨子が死亡した現場に残されたナイフに蓮奈の指紋がつけば一体どうなるか。蓮奈は容疑者の1人に浮上し、警察から取り調べを受ける様子が頭に浮かんだ。

もし、蓮奈が警察の取り調べを受けたとしたら、どのように切り抜けるのか気になるところ。このように想像を膨らませていくところも『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』の魅力ではないかと捉えている。

馨子が蓮奈にスマートフォンでのメッセージを消すように指示をしたのは警察からの取り調べを受ける際、「馨子に呼ばれてここに来た」という証言を証明できなくするためだと思う。

心に大きな傷を負った蓮奈を救ったのが馨子なのだろう。

『ブラック・ブラック・ロータス』は『わたしが恋人になれるわけないじゃん、ムリムリ！ （※ムリじゃなかった！？）』や『女同士とかありえないでしょと言い張る女の子を、百日間で徹底的に落とす百合のお話』とは雰囲気が異なるけど、刺さる人には刺さる百合漫画だと思う。

先の展開や物語に散りばめられた謎をひとつひとつ解くのが好きといった方は一度読んでみることをおすすめする。

キャラクターも可愛く、蓮奈と馨子の関係がどのように発展していくか気になった方は2話以降も追っていきたいところ。
