今回はコミック百合姫2023年10月号に掲載されていた『君と綴るうたかた』29話の感想・考察について話していこうと思う。

『君と綴るうたかた』29話の内容

『きみつづ』29話では、雫が夏織に小学校5年生の冬以降の出来事とWeb小説について話す様子が描かれていた。

るりの心を傷つけた雫は一体どのような学校生活を送っていたか・雫がWeb小説に自身の小説を投稿するのを躊躇っていた理由が明らかになる話。

良かれと思って行ったことが人を傷つけることに繋がってしまうことやWeb小説を取り巻く問題は決して他人事ではない。そう感じさせる内容になっている。

そして、雫に優しく寄り添う尊い夏織を見ることができる。

鏡に映し出された雫

鏡に映し出された中学生時代の雫が描かれた扉絵はインパクトあったな…

雫がまるで泣いているようだった。いや、実際に泣いていると言った方が良いかもしれない。

鏡は雫の心を表しているのだろう。るりとの騒動があった後、雫は心の中で泣き続けてきたのではないかと感じさせる。

小学校5年生の冬以降、自身の過ちに気付いた雫は相当追い詰められていたのは確か。雫の目に力が入っていない。

ネクタイを見ていると、雫の身だしなみもどこか乱れているような。

雫の嫉妬

夏織と一緒に寝た栞に嫉妬する雫がおもろい。

夏織と栞は幸せそうだったな。

気持ちは分からなくもないけど、「栞を許さないのはめっだよ。めっ。」と雫に言いたい。

栞と一緒に寝て楽しかったという事実も大事だけど、夏織が個人的には自分のベッドで久しぶりに寝れたことに嬉しそうにしていたことだと思う。

睡眠は1日の疲れを癒すのに欠かせない行動。寝心地が良いのはやはり普段使っているベッドまたは布団だと感じる方が大半ではないだろうか。

夏織の1日

夏織の「病院のほうが家みたい」というセリフから夏織の辛さを感じ取ってしまう。この言葉から、夏織は病院のベッドや枕に慣れているのかなと感じなくもない。

癌などによって寝たきり状態になり、病院で最期を迎える方も一定数いる。

雫達と話している時を除いたら、夏織は窓の外を眺めている時が多いのかなと捉えている。

テレビを見るにしても、テレビカードを買わないといけない。安静にしていないといけない状態なのを踏まえると、テレビカードを自力で手に入れることも難しいのだろう。

そんな夏織の楽しみは雫の小説。

雫の小説は夏織のQOL(生活の質)を満たすのに欠かせないものだ。雫の小説があるからこそ、夏織は生きるモチベーションを保てているのだと思う。

「病院のほうが家みたい」というセリフには、病院のベッドで長時間にわたって過ごすことが一体どういうことなのかが集約されている気がした。

もっとシンプルに表現するなら、夏織の辛さ。

白日の下に

小学5年生の冬以降の雫を見ていて辛い。雫に非があったとはいえ、見ていて胸が軋む。

いじめた悪い奴だと言っている人間達が逆に相手を追い詰めるとは…

自分の扱いについて小学校で問題になることがなかったという雫の言葉から察するに、教師達は事なかれ主義で済まし、雫が無視されているのを放置したということでしょう。

学校でいじめが問題になっていても、教師側は事なかれ主義で済まそうとしたりする動きが目立つような気がする。

雫は自身を悪人と評していたけど、私から言わせてみれば、今までるりをフォローしなかったどころか死体蹴りするかのように雫を追い詰める生徒や教師達も悪人だ。

クラスメイトや教師達の行動が雫を大きく変えた。

雫がるりをいじめていたと感じていたのなら、どうしてもっと早くるりをフォローしたり、雫に注意しなかったのだろうか。注意しようとしたものの、雫の言葉に反論できなかった生徒もいたと思うけど。

結局のところ、雫のクラスメイト達もるりを疎ましく感じていたのだろう。雫の言動は良くないと思っていても、グループワークの進捗が遅いるりに対しても良い顔をしていなかったのではないだろうか。

不利な状況に立たされた相手にここぞばかりに批判・非難を浴びせるのは見ていて気分の良いものではない。知らず知らずのうちに悪人になっている雫のクラスメイトを見ていて、とても愚かで信頼できないと感じてしまったよ。

正直、芹と夏織以外にるりの事情を理解していた人間はどのくらいいたのか疑問。

仮に雫がクラスメイト達に無視しないで欲しいと言ったら、陰湿ないじめが待っていた可能性があったのではないかと感じてしまった。

余白や吹き出しを黒くすることで雫が精神的に追い詰められているのを表現しているのではないかと解釈している。

余白を黒くするのは過去の出来事だというのを表現するのも目的だと思いますが。

雫とるりのやり取りを見ていて、気遣いの方法と方向性を間違えてはいけないなと実感する。

これまでの描写から、雫はるりをいじめているつもりはなかった。むしろ、るりの面倒を見ていると思い込んでいた。雫の行動がるりを傷つけているとも知らず。

自分が良かれと思ってやったことが相手に受け入れられるとは限らない。

雫とるりがもっと上手くコミュニケーションを取れていれば、違った未来が見えていたのかどうか気になる。

雫とるりの件は突き詰めると、コミュニケーションの問題なのかなという考えに行き着く。思っていることをハッキリ言って良いかどうかの状況なのかを雫は判断することができなかったわけで。

引き継がれる人間関係

中学校に進学した雫は何の事情も知らないクラスメイト達を避けていたことが言及されていたのも印象に残る。

るりの時のようにまた誰かを傷つけてしまうのではないかという恐怖が雫の頭によぎっていた。

「私に近づくことで噂されるんじゃないか」という雫のセリフから察するに、小学校時代のクラスメイト達が噂していると感じていたのだろう。

公立中学校に進学した場合、新たに知り合う人間もいれば、小学校時代の同級生がいる場合もある。

小学校時代の雫のクラスメイト達が中学校で雫のことを噂している可能性も十分考えられるのだ。結果、いじめや無視がエスカレートし、いじめを受けている人間はさらに追い詰められていく。

雫の口ぶりから中学受験をしているのかどうか微妙な気がする。都道府県によって事情が異なると思うけど、私立中学に小学校時代のクラスメイト達がたくさんいるというケースは少ない印象を受ける。

中学受験は人間関係をリセットする方法の1つ。実際、いじめが理由で中学受験に挑んだ人達は想像以上に多いと思う。

もし、引っ越しや中学受験をしていたなら、雫の口から「環境はあまり変わらなかった」という言葉は出てこないような。

創作物の影響力

雫が本に救われているを見ると、創作物は時に大きな力を与えるなと実感する。

ちなみに、『君と綴るうたかた』は私のQOLを上げるもののひとつだ。

映画は総合芸術といった言葉を耳にするけど、漫画や小説、アニメも人の心を豊かにする総合芸術だと捉えている。

『君と綴るうたかた』の世界に没入し、あらゆる考えを張り巡らせている時が楽しいので、雫の気持ちも分からなくはない。

雫は暗くて悲しい話ばかり読んでいたのは小学校時代の影響が大きいのだろう。

幸せな世界に浸る時に生じる罪悪感はるりに対する罪悪感から生じるものだと捉えている。自分は幸せになってはいけないという想いが雫の心の中に強く根付いていたのかな？

雫のWeb小説

雫のWeb小説に関するエピソードは『きみつづ』29話における見どころのひとつ。雫がWeb小説を投稿するのを躊躇う理由を知りたいと感じていた方が多かったのではないだろうか。私もその1人だ。

小説を書いている時の雫は活き活きしていたのが印象に残った。

Web小説の投稿サイトを秘密基地と表現するゆあま先生のセンスが本当に良いですねぇ。

雫の書いた小説が過去の事件と酷似していたというのは何とも言えない…

こじつけるように事件と一致する場所を見つけては晒すという行為を行う読者は陰湿極まりないとしか言いようがなかった。批判する読者は変な正義感に駆られたのかどうか知らないけど。

発表された物語が何らかの事件を連想させることが全くないとは言わない。何かの物語を追っていく内に過去の事件が頭によぎるといった経験している方は想像以上に多いのだろう。

雫のWeb小説の件は創作活動を行っている人間に起こり得る出来事ではないかと捉えている。

顔が見えない人間からの誹謗中傷ほど怖い物はない。

Web小説サイトやYouTubeのコメント欄などを見ていると、作家と読者の距離が想像以上に近いと感じることが多々ある。

インターネットの発達とともに自分の創作物や意見を投稿しやすくなった反面、誹謗中傷などがよりダイレクトに届いてしまうという弊害も起きているなと実感した。

便利な世の中になるのは良いことだけど。

作家との距離感については日々悩み、考えている。

雫に誹謗中傷のコメントを送っていた読者のコメントを見ると、私も漫画などの感想を書く際はよく考えないといけないと強く感じてしまう。

これまで、数多くの感想を書いてきましたが、大きな過ちを犯しているのではないかと自問自答する時が何度もある。

雪だるま式に増えていく誹謗中傷で心をすり減らしていく雫が辛過ぎる…

現在の価値観や世情によって、炎上する恐れのある表現や物語は変化していく。昔は攻めた表現ができたとしても、今は難しいということも往々にしてある。

雫の高校選択

小学校時代の事件とWeb小説での炎上は雫の高校受験に大きな影響を与えた。

雫は同じ小学校出身の人間が少ない高校を選んだのは人間関係をリセットすることに加え、変わりたいという気持ちがあったからだろうなと解釈している。

環境は人間に大きな影響を与える。雫はその辺をよく理解しているのかなと。

神奈川県は学区が撤廃されているので、茅ヶ崎市に住んでいる中学3年生が横浜翠嵐高等学校に受験といったこともできる。

芹とるりも雫が受験しないであろう高校を選んだのか気になるところ。そう考えたら、雫もるりと芹に与えた影響は大きい。

人との接し方が分からなくなった雫は高校受験において選択肢を狭めてしまった。周囲の人間が雫の選択肢を狭めたと言った方が正しいだろうか。

雫がいなくなろうとした場合における未来予想

雫はけじめをつけたら自殺しようとしていたけど、それは最悪の選択肢だと声を大にして言いたい。

夏織や静、雫の両親が悲しむのもあるけど、もっと大きな影響があるような気がして。

もし、雫が自殺したという知らせをるりと芹が知ったとしたら、一体どのような反応を示していただろうか。

少なくとも喜びはしないだろう。これまでの話を振り返ってみても、るりと芹はそのような精神の持ち主ではない。

るりは雫を追い詰めた原因は自分にあるのではないかと感じ、苦しみ続けた未来もあったのかなと思ったりした。芹はるりのせいじゃないと言うかもしれないですが、それでもるりは自分を攻め続けそう。

ここまで来たら、考え過ぎなのかもしれないですね。

雫を無視し続けたるり以外のクラスメイト達は雫が自殺してものうのうと生き続けるのかなと思うと…

雫が自殺したら、るりを傷つけたことが許されるわけではなく、返ってるりを苦しめる結果に向かうような気がしてならない。

そういった部分も踏まえると、雫が小説の下書きで使ったルーズリーフを捨てる場面は運命の分かれ道だったと解釈している。

これを逃したら、雫と夏織が繋がりを持つきっかけがあったかどうか。

少なくとも、自殺という選択は雫にとって逃げでしかなく、何の解決にもなっていない。

救い上げる神

夏織は雫を救い上げる神のような存在だと思う。

夏織の行動で悲劇的な結末が回避されたわけで。

捨てる神あれば拾う神ありとはよく言ったものだ。

雫から全ての真相を聞き終えた後の夏織の反応が尊い…

雫が紡いだ言葉で夏織が救われたというのは確かだ。雫がいなかったら、夏織は一体どうなっていただろうか。それについては考えたくもないし、今後も考える気もない。

夏織がいつだって雫の味方だと言うシーンは『きみつづ』29話の中で一番好き。

単純に尊い。

小説のエンド

雫が書いている小説のエンディングはハッピーエンドというよりもトゥルーエンドなのかなと感じなくもない。

「離れ離れになっても」という夏織の言葉が重いけど…

雫と夏織の会話を見ていると、夏織が書いている小説はまるで夏織に向けた感謝の手紙といった感覚を受ける。ラブレターと言った方が正しいか。

雫と夏織にとって後悔しない終わり方とは一体何なんだろうか。

小説のラストシーンに雫と夏織が一緒にいるのかどうか疑問。正直、微妙な感じがする。

最後に

いつになく難しい話でした。考え過ぎだと言われたら、それまでの話ですが。

『きみつづ』は文学小説とヒューマンドラマの一面を感じさせる百合漫画だと思う。

ひとつひとつの描写に無駄がなく、雫と夏織の恋と夏の思い出が緻密に描かれている。

Web小説という媒介を通して、インターネットがもたらした素晴らしい面と弊害について触れられていたのも印象に残る。

雫がるりに対する行動にしろ、Web小説でのやり取りにしろ、コミュニケーションが重要だと実感した。

それも一方通行のコミュニケーションではない双方向のコミュニケーション。独りよがりのコミュニケーションは時に取り返しのつかない事態を引き起こしてしまう。

『きみつづ』で描かれている出来事の数々は決して他人事ではなく、多くの人間に起こり得る出来事だと解釈している。

いろいろ語ったけど、雫と夏織の恋物語が一体どのような方向に向かうのか気になって仕方がない。

ちなみに、人はその気になれば、変わることができるということを雫やるりを通して実感できるのも個人的に好きな部分だったりする。

私達の世界では暑い夏がもうじき終ろうとしているけど、雫と夏織の夏はまだ終わらない。

Looking at the comments of the readers who sent slanderous comments to Shizuku, I strongly feel that I also have to think carefully when writing impressions of manga.

I've written a lot of impressions so far, but there are many times when I ask myself if I'm making a big mistake.

It's too painful for Shizuku to wear down her heart with slanderous slander that increases like a snowball...
