剣を振るう動作をよりダイナミックなものにするためには、肩や体幹などの動きを意識する必要があるようだ。

リリィの腕の動きを矢印で表すと、このようになった。

リリィの動きを模倣してみると、肩から動く。

剣を振るう動作に伴い、体幹のひねりが加わる。

セインがいることにより、場面に奥行きが出る。

セインの髪をなびかせることでより違和感のない場面に仕上がっていた。

物を持つ動作を描く際は手首・指の角度・持ち方によって印象が変わると思う。

ロセイユがサーラスに激怒した後、レイとクレアが魔法攻撃でリリィを押し切るシーンもスピード感を感じさせる。

大まかな構図を載せることに。

レイとクレアから離れた場所に魔法攻撃があることにより、読み手は魔法攻撃がリリィに迫っている感じを読み取ることができる。

絨毯の角度も遠近感・魔法攻撃が迫っている感じが表現されている。

描き文字が魔法攻撃の進行方向に向かって描かれていたのもポイント。

勢い・迫っている感じが分かる。

レイとクレアがリリィの魔力が尽きるまで攻撃すると言ったシーンが事前に提示することにより、表情が詳しく描かれていなくても一体どのような表情で魔法攻撃を行っているかを感じ取ることができるのではないだろうか。

こうして見ると、青乃下先生は戦闘シーンをよりカッコよく描くためにいろいろなことを考えているのが分かった。

『わた推し』50話において、家族の重さについて掘り下げられていたと思う。

セインは罪を犯したリリィを家族として接していた。

対するリリィもサーラスを父親として捉えていたのが印象的。

リリィはセインを攻撃した後、意味深なことを言っていた。

「あんなんでも父親なんだわ。」

サーラスが倫理的に許されないことを行っていることをリリィは分かっている。

セインにとったら家族ではないのかもしれないが、リリィにとってはたった1人の父親だ。

どうしようもない父親でも家族を見捨てることはできないといったところか。

リリィは複雑な思いを抱いているようだ。

リリィの表の人格も同様のことを言っていた気がする。

間違っていることなんて分かっている。

だけど、父親と一緒にいるためにはやるしかない。

リリィの辛さは計り知れない。

セインに対して温室育ちと言い放っていたことから察するに、リリィは想像を絶する日々を送っていたようだ。

レイ達の前でリリィのもう1つの人格が現れていたことを踏まえると、どちらが本当の自分なのか分からなくなっていたのかもしれない。

リリィを取り巻く問題は想像以上に難しいと思う。

果たして、リリィはもう1つの人格を消すことを望むのか。

リリィは2つの属性の魔法を使いこなすことはできたけど、日常生活に支障をきたしそうな気がする。

レイはリリィをこのまま倒して良いのか悩んでいたのも印象的。

リリィにもう1つの人格が宿ることにより、リリィが罪を重ね続けるだけではなく、日常生活にも支障をきたすことをレイは危惧していたのではないだろうか。

本来のリリィの人格と対話し、一体どうしたいのかを知りたいというのがレイの考えだと思う。

リリィはサーラスに一体どうして欲しいのか。

リリィがレレアを踏み潰すのを躊躇っていることを踏まえると、リリィはもう1つの人格と葛藤し続けているのだろう。

ロセイユとサーラスの対話も『わた推し』50話の見どころ。

個人的には、子を持つ父親同士の対話といった印象を受けた。

リリィだけではなく、セインもモルモットを見るような目で見るサーラスに対し、ロセイユが怒りを露わにしていた。

セインを物として扱うような言動に対して、ロセイユが激怒するのも無理はない。

『わた推し』49話の感想において、私はサーラスのような人間に医療職・介護職をやって欲しくないと言った。

人を物として見ているような人間に愛する人達を診てもらいたくない。

家族をモルモットのように扱うのではないかと考えるだけではらわたが煮えくり返る。

サーラスって医療職・介護職の適性がないと思う。

頭の良いサーラスなら、もう1つの人格が内在することで日常生活に支障をきたすことぐらい分かっていただろう。

私は人を物として見ている人間を心の底から憎む。

サーラスはロセイユのことを批判していたけど、私はこう思う。

お前が言うな。

サーラスの実験で多くの人間の命が奪われたことを考えると、サーラスは国を動かす人間ではない。ただの人殺しだ。

罪を罪とも思わない一面も到底許されるものではない。

容姿に興味がないというセリフからサーラスがいかに人に対して興味がないかが分かる。

サッサル火山の噴火がバウアー王国を襲う。

ロッドに救われた少女が目にしたシーンはショッキングだった…

救われた少女もトラウマになるでしょ…

自分のせいでロッドが重傷を負ったから。

少女の網膜にロッドが重傷を負う場面がこびりついたと思う。

冒頭でのどかな日常が描かれていることにより、サッサル火山が噴火するシーンはよりインパクトの強いものに。

物語の構成は重要だなと感じた。

揺れが始まる瞬間・サッサル火山が噴火する瞬間など、大きな変化が生じた瞬間のコマが大きく描かれている。

ここぞという見せ場は一体どこかが分かりやすく描かれているのも相まって、読みやすい。

こういった部分は漫画によりけりなのかなと。

『わた推し』50話のラストはバウアー王国に起きた大災害がどれだけ大きいかが分かる。

特に、サッサル火山が噴火する瞬間は1ページ丸々使われていたし。

サッサル火山が噴火する瞬間の構図を載せることに。

脅威となる存在が大きく描かれているのに対し、脅かされる者を小さく描かれている。

また、高い位置に脅威となる存在が描かれている点も印象的だ。

少女が自分の命より花を心配していたことを察するに、花畑が少女にとってかけがえのない場所だということが伝わってきた。
